The Department
The Department of Communication Studies offers the B.A., the M.A., and the Ph.D. degree in Communication Studies. The graduate faculty in the Department of Communication Studies is well known throughout the world for accomplishments in research, teaching, and service.
Research: The faculty is nationally recognized for their research endeavors. Faculty members consistently receive Top Paper honors at regional and national conventions and publish numerous articles every year in state, regional, national, and international journals.
Teaching: The faculty is committed to providing a quality educational experience for graduate students. As such, the faculty has received a number of teaching awards that reaffirm this commitment. Faculty members have received awards at the University, regional, and international levels for teaching effectiveness.
Service: The faculty is dedicated to service at the community, state, national, and international levels. For instance, the faculty serve as readers and editorial board members for a host of national and international conventions and journals respectively.
