Q: How do I apply for financial aid?

Q: Are assistantships available for the program? *
A: The Corporate MA does not have any assistantships available. If you’re looking for a more traditional MA program click here. The program assumes , but does not require that you have a career started.
Q: How do I register for classes?
A: You must first be admitted to the university and accepted into the program.
Registration for classes can be completed in one of two ways.

Q: Are GRE/GMAT required for admission?
A: We do not require GRE or GMAT scores for admission.
Q: Do I need letters of recommendation?
A: Letters of Recommendation are not required.
Q: Do I have to have a job during the program?
A: No. Unlike many MBA degrees we do not require that you have experience or be currently employed in your field to participate in the program.
Q: Can I take classes on line?
A: At present, we do things the “old fashioned way.” Remember, you will earn a Master’s degree from a Research Intensive university. There is no higher degree available at the Masters level.
In order to ensure the integrity of our program students have face to face contact with world class faculty.
Q: Can I take classes on the main campus in Morgantown?
A: At present, the WVU administration takes the “extended” part of Extended Learning literally.
Short answer…No.
Those living in the Morgantown areas should consider taking classes at the Clarksburg location.
Q: How do I apply for graduation?
A: When the time comes, the department will e-mail you the needed materials.
Be sure to keep your e-mail address up to date with Kim Straight to ensure that you receive the e-mails about graduation, paperwork, and requirements. Every semester you will receive program information so check your e-mail often.
Q: What’s the deadline for applying?
A: You should apply to WVU at least two weeks before the first class you wish to attend. It will take that long to process the paperwork needed for you to enroll in classes. *
