Declan Hilliard

Declan Hilliard is a first year Ph.D. student in the Department of Communication Studies. His primary research area is interpersonal communication. Specifically, he is interested in the use of humor in everyday interactions and the immediate relational outcomes following a positive or negative humorous exchange. In his spare time you can find Declan hiking the various trails of West Virginia, seated in the movie theater on a new release day, or watching and playing basketball (poorly).
