Matthew Witkowski

Matt has a B.A. in Communication Studies and an M.A. in Communication Theory & Research, each of which were completed at WVU. Matt is now in the second year of his doctoral studies, focusing on intergroup and interpersonal communication with particular interest in researching stigma, interpersonal surveillance, power and compliance gaining, and the communicative formation and expression of identity. While working towards his Ph.D., Matt also teaches undergraduate courses. His favorite to teach so far has been Comm 102: Fundamentals of Interpersonal Communication and he is most looking forward to teaching Comm 304: Argumentation for the first time this academic year.
