The Department of Communication Studies offers an M.A. in Strategic Organizational Communication (Online) and a Ph.D. in Communication Studies. Graduate instructors are full-time faculty members well-known at the regional, national and international levels for their accomplishments in research, teaching and service.

Ph.D. in Communication Studies

The Ph.D. program in Communication Studies is intended to qualify the student to teach and conduct research in instructional communication, interpersonal communication, or organizational communication at the University level, along with other research emphases. The program is designed to be completed within three academic years – Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters – and is aimed at preparing students for top-level jobs within the field of Communication Studies.
