The 7th Annual Undergraduate Spring Symposium was held on Sunday, 23 April, and many Communication Studies Undergraduates were in attendance presenting their scholarship.
Marleah Knights presented "What Matters? Race and Geography as Factors of HPV Vaccine Uptake for Black Appalachians," Louise Pammer Leach presented "Reducing Adverse Childhood Events through the Utilization of the Earned Income Tax Credit," and Adrianna Wood was awarded first place in the Social and Behavioral Sciences category for her presentation "How Corporations' Hiring Practices Create Additional Barriers for Neurodivergent Job Seekers."
We are very proud of all of our students and their accomplishments and were excited to share it with the rest of the WVU community.
