Introduction to major communication theories, with emphasis on the applicability of these theories in organizations.

Students will learn how to apply communication theory to workplace situations and their everyday life to achieve their personal and professional goals, how to use theories and concepts to create solutions to workplace and task-related problems, and will, ideally, set a foundation to navigate the elective courses in the program and apply course-specific theories and concepts to their workplace.
