The purpose of this course is to increase knowledge and application of theory and research related to social influence (including persuasion and compliance-seeking).
Social influence occurs every day in all types of interactions with others, and social influence skills are key to how you are perceived by others and how successful you are at achieving your goals. In this course, we will cover theories and principles of social influence with an emphasis on contemporary research.
